No soliciting

"No soliciting" means don't ring my bell to try to sell me something.

How hard is that to understand?

If you ring my bell to sell me something . . .

. . . and I don't want to shake your hand, don't accuse me of racism.

You rang my bell and I didn't want to buy anything. Minimizing interaction is what I wanted.

I took down my "no soliciting, no proselytizing" sign for Halloween, and should have put it back up right away.
